Hi,

Try using the phone in safe mode and check if the problem still occurs.

If not then a downloaded app is the cause of the problem. The trick is to find out which one.

You will need to uninstall each downloaded app, one by one and test the phone in normal mode between each uninstall. When it works OK the last downloaded app that was uninstalled was the cause of the problem. A downloaded app is one that you downloaded and installed and not one that came already installed on the phone.

I have the same problem and when I used safe mode and went back to normal mode most of the app icons disappeared and so did my wallpaper. Any idea?

@notsmartal82970

Is the phone behaving normally now i.e. not rebooting all the time, even though the apps are no longer on the home screen?

Presumably the apps are still there in the apps menu list?

Going from safe mode back to normal mode should not have altered anything but if there was an app that was causing the initial restarting problem then maybe doing this caused the icons to disappear. I don't know.

All you can do is to place the wanted icons back on the home screen and check if the phone still works OK after turning it off and on again and if so put the wallpaper back again as well.

Thank You so much! How did you discover this?

Windows, Android, Apple, and Linux Operating Systems have a "safe mode" option which allows the user to turn it on to check if it basically works OK or not

This means that only the most basic functions of the device are loaded by the OS software e.g. in Windows PCs the Ethernet (LAN) will work OK so there's an internet connection possible but not the WiFi (WLAN), the screen display will be basic 640 x 480 resolution because no hardware specific video drivers are loaded only generic Windows drivers etc. In Android no 3rd party apps are preloaded when the device is first started.

Each OS is different as to how safe mode operates

Usually if it doesn't work OK in safe mode either then it is a hardware problem. If it works OK in safe mode, usually it is a software problem

Cheers.

Dalla mia esperienza potrebbe essere semplicemente un problema legato al tasto di accensione che monta in sensore touch. Qualcuno più esperto potrebbe dire se questo potrebbe causare il problema?

From my experience it could simply be a problem related to the power button that mounts in the touch sensor. Could someone more knowledgeable tell if this could be causing the problem?
