hello i am currently trying to fix my iphone 8 plus by switching screens and i am ordering screwdrivers is there any way i can use the phone without the lcd backplate or home button or the front camera?

I believe you can YES:-)
It won’t really matter if they are there or not aslong as the screen is plugged in the iPhone will work fine
The parts that aren’t plugged in won’t work if they aren’t plugged in though!
