Released in October of 2020, the Dell XPS 13 9310 is physically very similar to previous models but has optional upgrades for graphics and the processor.

Headphone jack broken- is this soldered onto the system board?

Dell XPS 13 9310. Headphone output is broken- can only put headphone jack part way. Can't see a foreign object in there.

Is the headphone port soldered onto the system board?

If I replace the system board, is the CPU on the system board, too? (Ie would I need to transfer the CPU from old board to new?)

Thanks.

I found out the solution: the jack itself is on the case. Not the circuit board. No idea how to replace it though.

It's on the bottom case, not the circuit board.
