Hi,
Have you checked that the drain pump filter is clean etc and not that there is a build up of lint etc causing the drain pump to labour when the machine is draining?

If it appears to be OK, here's the Wm3180 Service Manual that may help. Go to p.18 to find out how to get into the Load Test Mode to test the drain pump to see if it's what's making the noise.
On p.37 it shows how to test the drain pump with an Ohmmeter to make sure that it is electrically OK and its location is shown on p.51 - see part #K340.
If the pump seems faulty search online for 4681EA2001T to get results for parts suppliers that suit you best.
