Washing machine hot water faucet leaks when supply line connected
My whirlpool washing machine leaks at the hot water faucet handle when the supply line is connected. When I ran a cycle with the hot water supply line disconnected from the faucet, water came out of the hot water supply hose at high pressure (I drained it into the sink on the washroom). Any recommendations on how to fix this? There is not apparent leak from the faucet when the supply line is disconnected.

Have you checked to see if the problem might be a worn rubber washer (gasket). In the hose coupling?

Hey Jaun- I did look at the gaskets and they look ok. Why I can't figure out is why water is coming out of the intake line when it's disconnected from the wall. That supply line should feed water to the washer, not drain it from the washer, unless I'm clueless on these things. Worth noting that I had disassembled the drain pump earlier to clear a blockage before this started occurring.

As to water coming out the inlet (not under pressure) that will happen when the hose opening is lower than that of water inside and there's no air breaking the siphon effect if present or simple gravity flow if not. If that's the puzzler?
