A laptop by Toshiba with a 15.8" display and runs Windows. Has a straightforward repair similar to most laptops. Requires only a screwdriver.

How to safely remove plugs

Block Image

Hi,

I would like to know how to safely unplug some connections underneath my keyboard. My first attempt ended in frustration as the plug would not come out of the socket. I did not want to force it , as I was afraid I would break the connection. Every video I see online shows the plug coming out with ease, but not mine. Am I doing something wrong?

Off hand, I would try pushing down gently on the two white tabs in the indent on your photo and pulling gently.

I believe the tabs on the wire-side hook-in under the top of the socket.

Any how try doing that gently
