More information please. How is it dying? Gradually? Suddenly like you turned the key off? The more info the better. Any sounds, signs, or symptoms will help us help you.

Is the ECL (Engine Check Light) on?

I heard of a story one time of someone that put a marble in the gas tank of an ex-girlfriend. The car would start and run for a bit, then choke out when the marble got sucked onto the end of the fuel line pickup. Once the engine died, the marble would drop and the car would start and run fine.....till it happened again.
Anyway, agreed that more info is needed but if the fuel filter is getting clogged with trash from the tank, it would do just about the same thing just more gradually choking out instead of a dead stop. I had an S10 that did that till I replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump plus drained and flushed out the tank.
