Tv shuts off by itself and will not turn back on.

When I place the power cord in the back of the tv it makes like a spark sound but nothing happens. The light does not come on on the tv and it does not power on. I tried another Tv cord form my other Vizio tv and it still did not work. Model number of tv D48f-E0

Can you confirm that there is 120V AC on the power in connector(when the device is plugged into power) and that the fuse is okay?

When the device is plugged into power, put gloves on and be careful not to short anything out. Test the fuse when the device is not plugged in to power.

To test the fuse, use the continuity or diode test setting on your meter and measure across the fuse. You should see 0 or close to 0, not 1 or OL. If your meter does not have a continuity or diode test mode, you can set it to resistance. It should measure 0 or OL.

Fuse is reading OL . Power connector came back with 64.5 AC

@btheballer "Power connector came back with 64.5 AC" where did you measure that at?

Measure the ac voltage across the L and N terminals (where the AC wires connect to the TV). It should read 120V or around that value. OL on the fuse means it is blown. You will need to desolder it (luckily it is a through hole part) and replace it with a similar rated fuse. However, since the fuse blew, it might mean that some other electronics in the TV are dead, which caused the fuse to blow.
