Device-State: error! after battery replacement

Just replaced my battery using the ifixit guide. Replacement went smoothly but now I cannot boot up my phone: it get stuck in fastboot mode with the status "Device-State: error! Boot-slot: a Enter Reason: failed to load/verify boot images"

Does anyone have a solution to this issue?
