It can go up to 7.2 but it is locked at 5.0

How much memory is listed when you go to System Configuration > Boot tab > select OS installed if more than 1 installed > Advanced > memory?

To get to System Configuration, press and hold the Win key then press r key, then type msconfig in the box and click OK

How much ram is installed? Was amount does it show in BIOS?

@jayeff It has an 8GB RAM the total is 7.2GB but the limit is 5GB.
