2000 club car DS S2 motor cable

I installed a 6 inch lift kit on my 2000 club car DS electric. After installing the kit, I noticed the white wire coming from the S2 terminal had come loose, not from the motor itself but where it goes. The issue I have is I have no clue where I goes to. I’m told it’s a ground to the negative terminal but where does it need to connect?

Hi @g1ock17 ,

Don’t know the cart but here’s the parts list for the cart that may help.

On p.116 there is the wiring diagram but it shows a black wire on S2 of the motor, which goes to the -ve battery terminal of battery #6 in the battery bank. Also on the same -ve battery terminal there is a white wire that goes to the -ve terminal of the fuse block.

Maybe the white wire was run from the S2 terminal (is there a black wire there as well?) to the fuse block and not from the battery terminal.

Hopefully this is of some help

I got it fixed, it was a loose S2 wire coming out of the motor which in turn is the negative to battery connection so both ends of that wire had come loose.
