Released in North America in November 2006, the Wii was Nintendo's first home console to directly support Internet connectivity, supporting both online games and digital distribution of games and media applications through the Wii Shop Channel.

How to lift the case up

Block Image

Still trying to fix my old Wii. I am trying to lift the case off to get to the fan. Which side do you pull off? The side with Nintendo written on it? I couldn't see from the picture on here. Thank you again for your help.

You lift the top case off. If you do everything right, it should come off with little to no effort. Nintendo Wii Fan Replacement

I took out all the screws I was supposed to in the tutorial. I don't think there are anymore unless I'm trying to pull up the wrong side.

Looking at your picture (assuming you have all of the screws out) it looks like you may just need to use a spudger to carefully pry it up. It may just be a little stubborn. Just be careful.@eaj2200
