Is it the digitizer problem?

My iPhone cannot be slide to unlock it but as i hold the power button and the power off slide come on i can power off slide it. its like only the unlock silde cannot work. the bottom half screen. whats and where is the problem. i want to fix it myself so which parts do i have to buy?

so is the problem comin from the diditiser only? cause my lcd displays things fine and there are no cracks. should i but the digitiser only and fix it is that all?
