Quickest/most effective way for me is still opening the SIM card tray and checking the model number there.
SE 2nd gen 2020 would have one of these:
A2275 (United States/Canada)
A2296 (Global)
A2298 (China)
SE 3rd gen 2022 will have one of these:
A2783 (International market)
A2595 (USA, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, USVI)
A2785 (China)
A2782 (Japan)
A2784 (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia)
You don't need to remember these, just grab whatever model you see on the SIM card tray and quickly Google it. :)

The most easiest way to find out is the model number hidden inside the SIM slot.
iPhone SE 3: A2595(American model), 2782(Japan), 2784(Russia and Middle Eastern model), 2785(China), 2783(Rest of world)
iPhone SE 2: A2275(America), 2298(China), 2296(Rest of world)
