It's the screen replaceable in Steam Deck?

Just wondering because there does not seem to be any answer and there is no way to buy a replacement on Steam.

Could the oled switch screen fit ?

@Gaming Ghost both screens are the same size, so in theory the OLED screen from the Switch should fit the Steam Deck. Unfortunately it's not as simple as that. The Switch's screen actually has a different connector than the Steam Deck.

I'm wondering if it's as simple as someone making an adapter to go from the connector on the Switch OLED display to the connector on the board of the Deck.

Does such an adapter exist? And even then, would the physical Steam Deck case be able to hold an adapter? The way I see it, it would be easier to wait for replacement parts that are marketed for the Steam Deck rather than attempting to Frankenstein a screen from a Switch.

Their’s no guides on iFixit’s Steam Deck page, but their is an article that details the device’s teardown, and it does talk about how easy it is to replace the screen. I suggest taking a look at it here.
