Why does my speaker stop responding

I have the Altec Bluetooth IME579-AB speaker. Why does it stop responding when the Bluetooth setting on my phone shows it still has a 50% charge. Other Bluetooth devices are able to connect to the same phone and continue to work fine.

Try connecting it t charger and useing it. If it works that way and doesn't disconnect then you have a battery indicator that's out of sync.
