Apple's fifth-generation smartwatch, with optional cellular connectivity, released September 20, 2019.

Force touch sensor still not working after replacement

I replaced my Apple Watch series 5 44mm lte force touch gasket as mine was damaged when I was replacing the screen (I need to reset it using the force touch as it is password locked) and when I replaced it and tried to do it, it still did the same thing. Any ideas on what might be wrong??

So it turns out i needed too hold the power button (with it charging) then hold the crown.

Do you know if it is running WatchOS 7 or newer? Apple removed the force touch sensor’s function in WatchOS 7 and replaced most of its functions with a long tap

Same problem for me after replacing the screen and the force touch sensor. Not sure I did the adhesives correctly on the repair. The video shows using an adhesive instead of the actual parts that ship with the repair. Is there a way to show the actual repair you need to do here?
