Only booting when the keyboard ribbon is not plugged in
My macbook recently died, i opened it up and tried disconnected stuff until the fan started spinning. After disconnect the keyboard ribbon, and plug in the power, it booted. Connected everything else and still boots. I plug it in and it’s dead.
Should i just replace the keyboard all togheter or is there something else to try?

Did you try the power pads?

No, I did now and realised something i didnt see before, although it was there, when using the power button or power pads, it performs an smc reset.

A chip on the trackpad board is getting really hot when plugged in after booting.
