plug stuck in selfie cam FCP connector socket
the circled port is the for the selfie cam of a iphone 6s. you can see the other two ports are the distinctive receptacle connector, but the circled one looks "filled in". plus the metal visible is silver not gold. what tipped me off is when i was trying to connect a screen, i couldn't get that flex cable connector to snap in (the other two went in fine). upon closer inspection i concluded that when i last disconnected a connector (which i'm not sure if i even have it anymore, i was replacing and rebuilding the LCD screen.
so, am i barking up the wrong tree? or does it look like the last time i disconnected something from that port, the connector left something behind?
and if this is the case, how does one extract the plug part without damaging receptacle portion?
unfortunately i don't have a hands free magnifier so i'm working at eyeball level.
the smallest precision tools i have for trying to dig it out are sewing pins, toothpics and dental pics. that's about the smallest pointed tools i have, but i'm worried about digging in too hard with the metal tools
if anyone has experience with this sort of thing, please share. i can use all the advice i can get as this motherboard is one worth salvaging.
