What temperature and side do you use on a heating mat

Hello All

This is a general question to get some insight on what other technicians do

What temperature and side do you place your iphones on the heating mat and how long for, to ensure easy removal of screen

I use 70C and I put the iPhone on its front I.e. Home button side down for 2 mins

And other suggestions or best practises would be much appreciated

i'm curious about this too, although i don't use a heating mat, i have a heat gun. i also have a laser temperature reader. i know it's not quite as precise as a heating pad, but i figure i'm good with a +/-10 degrees of variance and don't need to dial in to the degree or tenth-of-a-degree

@ali_man_ton, I know this is an old question so this is mainly to answer @beekerc

I always use 74C on my pad, with screen down. Then I let it sit until I can feel the back is warming up.

Did an X-RAY the other day, several 7 plus’ and a few 6 over the last week, and I never have a problem.

Easy-peacy
