Chris Frasca this could be due to failed LED’s on the backlight strips. You will have to disassemble your TV right down to the panel. Then open up the panel and replace the strips. It’s a bit of a PITA but not to difficult. When you take teh panel apart you will come across a couple of “plastic” sheets. Those are diffusers, polarizers etc so do not mix them up, keep them in the same order and the same direction. Of course, you always want to check the power board output to the LED strips. Use a multimeter and measure the voltage on those. You should have the same voltage on each connection. Set your meter high since there should be a couple of 100’s volts on it. If you need more help with that, post some good pictures of all of your boards with your question. that way we can see what you see and hopefully help you a bit more.
