What do I need to do to fix my controller?

My brother was playing and had lemon juice next to him together with the controller. He got a bit mad and accidentally hit the cup and the juice fell into the controller. It has been 2 or 3 months and I couldn't find a solution until I found this site, please I need immediate help.

you will definitely need screwdiver and a new motherboard for the controller maybe a new battery too. However if you tell us how the remote is acting now, maybe others can be more specific

It doesn't work. When I press the buttons it feels like there was no sugar that got stuck to begin with. When I Shake it I hear like something is hitting the outer case from the inside, idk how to describe it precisely tbh.

so, there isn't any response from the controller when you plug it in? I also remember something about isopropyl alcohol and toothbrushes being used to fix motherboards. However, I am not sure about this, just heard mentions of it in ifixit.

Yeah, your board is probably bad, im not sure about the battery. You will more than likely need to buy a new board

find the controller information and look up the motherboard for the model. the one that you posted is the cuh-zct1. here is the link for that controller

https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Game-Consol... however make sure that these are parts you actually need. Ive never repaired a controller before
