Did an OS update and it would not power on.

I have an ipad ai4 it stopped working after os updateaIve haveI have an ipad air 4. Did an OS update and it would not power on. Have tried all the usual things but no good. Could it be the updated software that has detected a generic cable. Anyone any ideas.

Do you have a backup of the iPad? Do you have iTunes on a Mac or PC?
