Phone vibrates 3 times when off and has an unresponsive screen

I did drop the phone around 2.5 feet and it landed almost flat on the ground. Though it did have a case, it immediately seemed to stop working and when I pressed the power button it vibrated 3 times. Any idea on what is going on?
