Microwave oven keeps stopping

I have a Panasonic microwave oven. Sometimes, when I start the microwave, 4-6 seconds later, it will simply stop for seemingly no reason whatsoever. I have to press Start again to make it continue cooking. This has become an increasingly repetitive issue with my microwave, and occasionally, it even occurs twice in a row. Do you have any suggestions for fixing this issue? Thank you!

Potentially, yes, but by "stopping", it acts as if I pressed "Stop", but does not beep, as if I pressed the button to open the door instead. It does not happen every time, but it is becoming more common for the microwave oven.

sounds like the door switch is misaligned. You could try pushing on the door to see if that stops it from cutting off.

Otherwise, the electronics the switch is connected to is intermittent.
