A1502 13" Screen flickers with certain hues
Hello, I’m trying to figure out what would cause flickering on certain colors as well as some visible “bands”, for lack of a better term, on certain colors. My best guess is an issue with one of the ribbon cables directly attached to the LCD panel. Gently tapping/moving/reseating the LVDS cable has no effect on the problem. Please see below, any insight is appreciated:
Notice the two “bands” in the bottom of the green section that shouldn’t be present:

The image/video above are with the computer running from a new/unmodified Ubuntu live USB. The same issues are present regardless of running from the live USB or the native macOS.
