iPhone unable to activate, NO IMEI + continous searching.

Hello.

I have recieved iphone x with light water damage.

When i power uo the phone and click the i button there is IMEI shown and after trying to activate it - The result is “Unable to activate” and after that the IMEI is gone.

Phone wont recognize the SIM aswell - continous searching..

Anyone have experienced similar case?

Now i discovere one thing.

When doing flash with 3utools there comes an error up 80% (Device did not accept baseband).

That rules out that the problem is with BB? BB CPU ?

IMEI is present sometimes in the "i" section and i can see it in 3utools aswell.

That means baseband is still functioning?

You will need to split the board and check for corrosion and oxidisation from the liquid. Clean the pads and install into test jig. If it still has no IMEI you will have to consider re-balling “Baseband CPU” and the” U_WTR_E” IC.

The board is already splitted. No corrosion there at all.
