Are the battery connectors for the 12" and 14" iBook G4 compatible?

Hi -

My ibook G4 will not charge. Dropped in a new battery (at the shop), will not charge, does not recognize the battery.

I gather the most likely culprits are the battery connector and dc-in board.

My question: Are the batter connectors for 12 and 14" ibook G4 compatible?

Mine is a 1.33GHz 12" ibook G4.

I could be wrong but I don't remember a cable for this. Seems like the 14" had a Battery Transfer Board which attached directly to the logic board. Take a look at the repair guides.
