Vertical colored lines usually show on a TV screen when the T-Con board is not working properly. Many times this can simply be caused from wiring that is not securely fastened. Other times the T-Con Board itself may be faulty and need to be replaced.

This doesn't always mean that the TV is broken. And there are a number of tips that you can try to solve the problem.

Tip 1: turn the TV off and on.

Tip 2: check the video cables.

Tip 3: switch between sources.

Tip 4: update the software.

Tip 5: reset your TV to factory settings.

I hope my answers comes in handy for you.
