I want to attach a lapel microphone to my RCA 7” Voyager III tablet for zoom meetings The 3.5 doesn’t work for input just headphone. Do i need a micro USB mic or do i need a converter ?

Yes, you will need a converter as there are no microphones that have a micro-usb connection by default that would work with your device.
