Sound issue in right ear

Hi!

So I’ve ruled out the fact that it could be the cable and or the TR device as I’ve tested it on a mobile device as well as my PC whether it be direct or through the mixamp. I know it’s 100% the headset as if I wiggle around the right ear cup and slide it up and down to get to a certain spot the sound will start playing but as soon as I move it a tiny bit it will distort and or stop. I was wondering what the issue could be and if it was possible for a rookie like myself to repair it as I don’t want to buy a new headset, thanks :)

Update (07/03/2021)

@oldturkey03 one of the screws was too threaded to the point I had to pry it open but this is what the insides look like. I hope these pictures are good enough

@bailey123 sounds like bad contact. Have you had a chance yet to check the wiring etc.? Anything that stands out. Check this guide Astro A40 TR Speakers Replacement to get to your drivers (speakers) and post some good pictures of the wiring etc. with your QUESTION. That way we can see what you see.
