My usb type c port is not working on my blade 15 (2020)

so i’ve got a razer blade 15 base model (early 2020) and i’ve been using the type c port on the right side to use my valve index. up until a few days ago everything was working fine. now when i try to use it nothing is coming up on steam vr and the port isn’t being recognized as a type c or a 3.0 even though it is. i’ve tried reinstalling drivers, resetting pc, just about everything besides replacing the port. which i’ve never done. any help is greatly appreciated

Hi,

Check whether the option to “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” has been unchecked in the Power Management of the USB-C > Properties of Device Manager.

I don’t know which USB port it will be in Device Manager > click on the > symbol to the left of Universal Serial Bus Controllers to expand the list > right click on …hub (or Root hub) > Properties > Power Management so you may have to check all of the entries listed.
