Graphics Card and/or Mother board
Hi Is it possible to have my laptop repaired if the Graphics card and/or Mother Board are deemed to be gone, on my MSI GE62 6QD??

Hi,
The GPU chip is hard mounted on the motherboard so if it is faulty replacing the chip is very difficult without the proper tools and skills.

If the motherboard is faulty then having the schematics for the motherboard will definitely help in finding out what the problem is but it may depend on what the problem is, whether it can be fixed and then whether it is economically viable to do so. Contact a reputable, professional laptop repair service and ask for a quote.
Replacing the motherboard would be the easier and perhaps cheaper option.

Type your location in the Search repair Pros search box to hopefully find repairers near you. All the professional repairers listed abide by the Ifixit Repair Technicians’ Creed
if none near you you may just have google for any in your location and check the reviews about them to decide which one you may use
