iPhone 4 screen white with lines after attempted repair

I foolishly thought that I could repair my old iPhone 4 power button myself, so I took it all apart and tried to replace this ‘power and sensor cable’ and see if I could make the power button work (tried putting something in it but that didn’t work), then I made the classic mistake of not being sure how to put it back together and when I finally did it didn’t fit in properly and the screen is all white/bars like it’s been dropped or something.

All in all, I would have been better off not touching it at all! Is there anything I can do to at least make the screen work so I can get some data off the phone using my data recovery software,

Much appreciated!

Try to clean connector and reseat the screen flex connector maybe it don’t seat propperly. If that doesn’t help then you have damage the screen flex cable.
