Sim Card Reader repair

Alright so I was in the process of taking the destroyed screen off of my 10.5” iPad Pro (Model A1709) and detached what I thought at the time was the battery connector but was actually a component attached to the SIM card reader and it wouldn’t reattach. I need to know if that’s something that is important or if it doesn’t matter

If you’re not using cellular on the device I wouldn’t be too worried. If you do use cellular, then it’s not going to be able to read the SIM card and result in loss of service.
