iPhone XS Ghost touch problems
Hello!
I recently bought used iPhone XS 64GB from german retailer. It was described as having some touch issues. Now, I am having a lot of trouble with ghost touch, because phone writes, scrolls and clicks on its own. I tried soft and hard reset and erassing phone with iTunes and setting it up as new, but it doesen’t help. My screen has some deeper scratches and grooves, especialy in lower corner, where fractions of glass are missing (very small sections, about 5mm in lenght and 2 mm in width). So, I was wondering, if replacing the whole OLED assambely with brand new one would solve the probmel with ghost touches. Can it be motherboard damage? Everything works fine though, except for the display.
Sorry if I misspelled some words, I am from Slovenia.
Thank you in advance.

Thank you both. I have replaced some screens before, so that shouldn’t be that much of a problem. I will defenetly check water indicators. Once again, thank you both.

hi, did you manage to solve the problem. I am having the same problem. since my phone fell into the floor (the screen didn't break, it was intact) it has ghost touches, specially when it's warm...
