Computer not booting after recap

I bought a Macintosh SE 1/20. It booted correctly from HDD but showed first signs of corrosion on the logic board. I recapped it and reassembled. Now it gives the boot chime followed by a happy mac. Then it starts reading from the HDD. Seconds later it gives a sad mac with error code:

0000000F

00000063

Can anyone give me a hint where to look?

Best,

Markus

Did you replace the PRAM battery? Also check the socket sometimes the contacts are dirty.

You may need the 3.5” disks that came with the system to run the diagnostics.

Hi @danj,

Thanks for the reply. I did replace the PRAM battery. Checked with a system disk and I’m able to boot from a system 7.0.1 floppy.

Guess it’s a problem with the system on the HDD. Going to reinstall and check again.
