The memory on the iPhone is soldered to the logic board and cannot be swapped without a programmer. The 5s has three memory sizes 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The iPhone 5s logic board can be put into any 5s housing.

So yes you can swap logic boards but make sure it has more memory than the one in it.
