Screen white after replacement

Hi everybody

I had to change the screen of my Apple Watch 4 44mm. For that, I bought a locked watch with a perfectly working screen. After switching the broken screen of my watch with the working one, the replaced screen is only white. I checked the cables and changed the Touch Force sensor as well. The screen is still white. Does anyone have any idea why?

Thanks and greetings

Maybe screen curtain is active, have you tried to disable it?

"Use Screen Curtain on your Apple Watch

Use your iPhone to turn on Screen Curtain for your Apple Watch:

  1. On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app and go to My Watch.
  2. Tap Accessibility > VoiceOver > Screen Curtain. This setting keeps Screen Curtain active whenever VoiceOver is on.
  3. To turn Screen Curtain off, repeat these steps."
