I have a Whirlpool 1.7 wmh73l20as, It has power and doesnt show any errors on the touch panel. Every time I press the start button, the microwave switches on momentarily (less than a second) and just shuts down again and again. Any help in diagnosing the issue and potential solution will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Check that the door interlock switches are functioning correctly.
There are 3 switches parts#9,14 & 19 Interior and ventilation parts diagram
These are safety switches that ensure that the microwave won’t start or will stop immediately if the door is open.
Not quite sure with your model but usually two of the switches make contact when the door is shut whilst the other one break contact when the door is shut.
You would need to disconnect the power from the oven and then open the oven and check that the switches are OK or that the switch actuating lever mechanism is not loose etc.
Be safety aware when working inside a microwave oven as the HV capacitor can store >6000V DC for months even if the power has been disconnected for this length of time. It needs to be discharged correctly before commencing any work inside the oven after the cover has been removed. This voltage can seriously injure you or worse. If you don’t know what you’re doing then don’t do it!
