I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am 2.4L 4 cyln. Where to set the timing chain if its out of place?

Here is a diagram the shows you how it is all setup. Just wondering if you have ever done this kind of work before. It is very involved and not quite as easy...

+ And if you get wrong you could destroy the engine. I usually change the water pump at the same time--you have to remove it to get to the timing chain. And double check the sprockets.
