Buying Parts from Third Party

Not sure if this is ok to ask here, I have been trying to find some alternative options for buying an LCD screen replacement for an Ipad Air 2 for a repair. The owner doesn’t want to spend too much on the replacement but is willing to buy a replacement if the price is right. What could be some risks of buying from other sites? Usually I go with big named sites where I never get issues.

I understand your customer wants to get it fixed for a reasonable price, but if they’re looking for the cheapest price possible then they can take it elsewhere it’s not worth the headache. I order my replacement parts from Mobile Sentrix, Mobile Defenders, Injured Gadgets, and sometimes parts4cells, with Sentrix being my main supplier. They all typically offer a lifetime warranty on most of their parts as well.
