The power board I suspect is ok. I’m thinking the I/O main board is needing reset

Ok... I’ve biased the drv and power on via 1k resistors with no I/O board connected. All volts are stable. The system only turns off when I/O board is connected. The relay clicking is the lower left mains input relay.
Mike Speed if your Voltages are as they should be then the issue appears to be your main board.

If there is a fault coming from screen or T-con to main board, the main board will lock itself after 3 failure.
To lock out main board you need to reset it by for example service remote from china.
The result of locking main board will be: you turn on, hear clicking relay - black screen - after 3 sec clicking relay again off.

Yes. How do we use this remote to reset the mainboard? You can't just say something like that and then ignore questions on how to use it?

There are function's keys described what those are for.
Just find a picture of remote, you will understand
Even if you have vertical pixel lines..you can still repair it by restarting drivers to the screen panel.
In service remote control press P button (just power)..in the left uppper corner.
Lines mistly will desappear.

@Mike Speed when you are saying the I/O board, are you referring to the main board? It should not turn it off because of a bad T-con board

:)...I’ll rule out the tcon. I refer to the main green board, some call it I/O. To recap, the green board seems to be turning off the 3.3 v to “power on and drv on”
