Why won’t my iPhone boot up all the way.

i got an iPhone 2 g yesterday and it was working earlier today and yesterday. I Went to turn it on and it would turn on and go to the lock screen and then shut off because the battery was low. I plugged it in and after a while I noticed it hadn’t turned on so I press the power button and this is what I get. What is wrong with my iPhone?
