Can the battery remain connected when replacing screen adhesive?

Hi everyone,

On every each tutorial I come across to replace screen or anything else I noticed that the battery must be disconnected before unplugging the screen or anything else.

Hence I don’t quite understand why can the battery can remain connected while the screen is unplugged when replace the screen adhesive? Am I missing something? What should I beware of when doing this?

Thank you very much !

It is the plunging and unplugging of connectors that can blow the fuses that are soldered on the logic board. So it is ok to have the battery plugged in while you are not plugging or unplugging a connector.

Thank you very much :)

So I just need to be careful that the connectors are right in front of their slot when I plug them back in? And obviously unplugged them gently.
