The CD/DVD drive in the G4 Quicksilver isn't working. Have a G3 Blue & White with a working drive. Can I put the G3 B & W drive into the G4 Quicksilver? Where can I find instructions how to remove the drives?

You can find instructions with the supplied link--the B&W is a teardown that includes removing the optical drive and the Quicksilver has a guide for removing the optical drive. As to compatibility both computers use a EIDE/ATA-3 interface so I would think they would be compatible. The only way to be certain would be to try it. Good luck.
