Sounds like I am under water in calls

Hi,

I have a iPhone 8. All works fine but when I am making a call the person on other end of call can’t hear a word I am saying unless I am on loudspeaker. I can hear them. But to them it sounds like I am under water. The sound is so poor. I have replaced the bottom mic twice but still the same. I have tried different som cards but all the same. I have turned VoLTE off , still the same.

has anyone else experienced this or got a solution at all please

Make sure that the holes at the bottom of the phone are free from debris, as it can often prevent the mic from picking up audio properly.

Sounds like stupid, but it ain't stupid. I was on my way to replace microphone. 10 minutes of removing dirt with needle and washing with izopropic alcohol. And... It works! (at least for me)
