Replace battery instructions A1530 5S iPhone

I am trying to replace the battery in my iPhone 5S, Model A1530. There are a number of very good youtube instructions for the 5S, A1530. Unfortunately the innards ( or guts) of mine are different. In all cases it is a simple matter of lifting a covering clip and then the Home button cable can be lifted after which it ‘s an easy job to replace the battery.

I have removed 3 tiny screws but I still can’t see how I can lift that cable.

I gently pry under the head of the connector with a pair of curved tweezers and it pops right off. Just beware that if you damage the home button you can replace it on this model, it will just permanently loose touch ID.

Thanks Jesse,

If you read my message again you will find that I am already aware of the clip you refer to. You will see that my phone does not have that clip. That is the whole problem.
