Xbox One controller was introduced in 2016 with the launch of the Xbox One S and adds Bluetooth support for Windows 10/11. This controller fixes many of the design flaws found on the Model 1537/1697 controllers and is much more reliable. This controller has been replaced with the improved Model 1914 controller.

Joystick push button stops working after some time.

After I attempted to replace a faulty joystick I managed to destroy the path where on of the push buttons pin is supposed to be connected [attached image]. I soldered a bridged to the upper pin just so it wouldn’t get biased (They are the same terminal). It works fine for an hour or two, but after that the controller just detects the push button is being pressed or it won’t detect anything at all. This happens with the bridge i solder and without it. It just seems a weird problem, after i tinker with it (move the bridge a little or just solder and de-solder the push button) it comes back to life and the it will break again. Do I need to just replace that motherboard?

You need to find where that pin connect and run a jumper wire to it. Try to follow the trace on the motherboard. It could be on this side or on the other side of the board.
