John O’Brien shine a flashlight at an angle against the screen while you have sound. Let us know if you have shapes or silhouettes that you can make out. If not then there is the possibility of a bad T-con board or bad main board. If you can make it out you may have a bad power board or backlight array. Let us know what you find. LG has had bad backlight array and those would be my number one suspects. Once you remove the back cover from your TV post some good pictures with your QUESTION so that we can see what you see.
